De-constructing Seven Peaks. The roots
From the sea breeze to the towering mountain peaks, the north of the Iberian Peninsula was not only our home, but also our first and largest playground. This is our story, woven between the sea and the mountains, where adventure was a constant.
Since we were little, we grew up in a duality: the daily routine in the city, with its always busy streets and constant hustle and bustle, contrasted deeply with the freedom and serenity of nature that surrounded us. This contrast undoubtedly played a fundamental role in what years later would be the creation of Seven Peaks.
The city, with its fast pace, was where our weekdays were spent. Coming and going to school, our parents' occupations and urban life in general marked our rhythm. But it was in nature where we found our disconnection. Every getaway to the mountains or the coast became a release, a respite from the daily hustle and bustle.
Weekends and vacations were our sacred times. It was then that we were completely immersed in a different world, one where time seemed to stop. Here, far from the asphalt and buildings, we learned to build our own cabins, using what nature generously offered us. Fallen branches, leaves and stones became our construction materials, each cabin a tribute to creativity and connection with the environment.
Camping became a family tradition, one we treasured with special affection. It was our time to reconnect, to share stories next to a campfire and to discover new routes that seemed drawn for us. Each camping trip was a different adventure, a journey into the unknown, even in the most familiar corners of our natural home.
These experiences, so ingrained in our being, are the essence of Seven Peaks. Each product we design is imprinted with the spirit of those hand-built cabins, the resistance necessary to face wild routes and the essential comfort to enjoy nights camping. In them, we have captured the essence of living between the sea and the mountains, of being part of nature and not just an occasional visitor.
Seven Peaks was born from a passion for sharing these experiences. We want that when using our products, you can feel the same excitement that we felt as children when exploring new routes or when building a shelter in the middle of the forest.
